Carbon Capture & Storage

UNILAB delivers consultancy services and training in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) for industry-oriented projects. Our research activities canters on energy transition, process engineering safety, AI engineering application, decarbonization and the development of technologies for use in enhancing secure sequestration of CO2 in geological formations.

We provide training that is directed toward improving CCS, low carbon energy and energy transition. We also conduct Capture and Storage (CCS)  research as well as link innovation outcomes to industries by creating strong industry-academia links between the UK research organisations and industries.

Our services in CCS provide technical solutions to capture CO2 & store carbon, thereby stopping CO2 from escaping into the atmosphere.

Services We Offer

Our mission is to support UK organisations &  companies to achieve net zero carbon emission by 2050 at very subsidized costs.

Carbon Foot Print Reduction

We offer highly subsidized carbon foot print reduction consultancy. We support UK companies to achieve net zero carbon emission by 2050.

Carbon Capture & Storage

Our services in CCS provide technical solutions to capture & store CO2, thereby stopping it from polluting the atmosphere.

Equipment Decommissioning

UNILAB renders legally compliant decommission of redundant medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment.

Research

We are actively involved in Carbon Capture and Storage research in collaboration with some UK higher institutions.

Training & Consultancy

We deliver consultancy services and training on Green House Gas Emission Reduction and Carbon Capture & Storage.

Equipment Redeployment

We support laboratories in sub-Saharan African with desperately needed laboratory equipment by redeploying refurbished equipment to their labs.

With net zero carbon target by 2050, carbon reduction is now compulsory for companies.

UNILABAID supports UK organisations & companies reduce carbon foot print.

Frequently Asked Questions

Carbon footprint is the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by an organisation, a product or any activity, expressed in terms of carbon dioxide equivalent.

Taking inference on best policies, technologies and proactive actions emerging around, we are able support organisations develop policies and strategies to achieve Carbon Footprint Reduction and possibly improve their profit.

Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is the process of capturing and storing carbon dioxide (CO2) before it is released into the atmosphere. The CCS technology aims to capture up to 90% of CO2 released by via activity or process.

Our services in CCS provide technical solutions to capture CO2 & store carbon, thereby stopping CO2 from escaping into the atmosphere.

The goals of Equipment Refurbishment & Redeployment initiative are two fold;

  1. To extend the shelf life of redundant equipment as this reduces carbon foot print
  2. To support and strengthen sub-Saharan Africa researcher institutions through providing them with desperately needed laboratory equipment. We also engage the research institutions to embrace environmentally friendly policies and practices that minimise greenhouse emission.

Equipment Decommissioning (ED) is a general term that covers the processes involved in removing an equipment from active status or operation. ED can take place as a result of routine maintenance or a precursor to putting the equipment into storage, disposal or demolition.

We engage all the necessary procedures to ensure a legally compliant equipment decommissioning some of which includes documentation, insurance and contract considerations as well as consideration of interfaces with other equipment and site utilities. Our ED procedures also covers process and operational management and very critically Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance.

UNILAB renders decommission (dismantling and removal) of redundant medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment in a safe and environmentally friendly manner that is legally compliant.
